About this position

What you can expect

As a Technical Service Engineer, you will support our existing IT/OT service units. You will be responsible for first and second level support, remote support (RDP / VNC) as well as the support, setup and management of backup solutions (Acronis).

You will also be responsible for Windows client configuration according to specifications, software installation and documentation as well as Windows system patching including documentation. 

Furthermore, your tasks include the documentation in the controlled GXP environment as well as the independent processing, careful documentation and maintenance of incidents and requests within a central ticket system (ServiceNow). 

You are also responsible for the independent coordination of appointments (communication between departments), the processing of information according to specifications for reporting purposes and for error analysis (reverse engineering).


What you should bring to the table

  • You have successfully completed an apprenticeship in the IT field or a similar qualification
  • You have basic knowledge of network technology (IP configuration, topologies / layers, Vlan segmentation, Active Directory & OUs)
  • You have basic knowledge of GXP
  • You have professional experience in the activities mentioned  
  • You are willing to get to know, understand and use new technologies
  • Your flexibility and self-organization help you to keep an overview between different assignments in the project environments
  • You are a strong communicator in dealing with customers  
  • You have a good understanding of processes
